Facing the Book

I signed up to numerous social sites when I was a full-time web designer, including this Facebook site. But I wasn't that excited about it, because of one simple reason: I couldn't customize the design. I mean, I couldn't mess up and play around with the CSS. So it was just boring. Virtual friendship or social networking isn't exactly my thing. Customizing the layout or themes excites me more.

Lately, Facebook became so popular that even almost every person at my office has an account. Things got crazier when my schoolmates at junior high and some old friends found me on this site. Whew! I know it may sound silly, but I gotta do something with those friend requests. I will approve the real ones and ignore the fake ones. For all my friends, thanks for finding me.

Whew! This has been a crazy week for me. Two weekends of training in a damn row! And a week full of hard work. I feel so terribly tired that I decided to get a day off. Just to take a rest. So that's all, BO04 signed out...

The New Blog: Revisited

I have been trying to integrate other blog system with my personal site which was built on Drupal. My choice was hosted Blogger service, because it is possible for me to use my own (sub)domain. Everything went well since the Blogger template can be customized to almost anything we need, unlike hosted WordPress. The biggest problem might be the aggregation module on Drupal, that is too complicated in my opinion. I just need a simple parser like the widget on the WordPress.

At the time of writing, my Drupal-based site is still under development. I am still configuring the image CSS styling. Hopefully it will be online tonight. Because tomorrow morning I have to work. *Sigh*
